I started changing the garment by tearing up the seams. Then I shaped it, by moving the frontside fabric to the back, so that the front pockets became the back pockets of the new garment, (as you can see on the following photos). Then I shaped it so it became tuxedo-like at the back.
I folded up the collar, made new button holes, shorten the shoulder width and strengthened the top of the sleeve to make the shoulder part more expressive. I shorted and slimmed the sleeves, then I lined the new jacket.
